『~の最中に』って英語でなんていうの?





何か作業をしている最中に誰かに邪魔をされるとついつい
イラッとしてしまう事ってありますよね。
ところで、『~の最中に』って英語で何ていうのでしょう?

“~の最中に” だから英語で in the time?




正解は、イン ザ ミドル 『in the middle』といいます。

 




例文

He picked up the phone in the middle of the conversation.

(会話の最中に彼は電話に出た。)
※in the middle of (熟) 真っただ中で
※conversation (名) 会話

Don’t come to a conclusion in the middle of brainstorming.

(ブレストの最中は結論を出さないでください。)
